Edison Carter is at it again. This time round he found a way to hack into the Liberty City Stories save file and allow it to spawn helicopters in any of the three save house garages. As most of you know by now, we can jack a helicopter in the mission Calm Before the Storm and fly it around a short distance in Portland.

No more says Edison Carter! Soon he will put up a save game (most likely the US version) that will allow you to load a helicopter and fly it around the entire Liberty City! It took him 15 minutes though to get the helicopter out of the Staunton Island garage with a PCJ-600, but it was well worth it.
After the dissapointing sales of Liberty City Stories in the UK, posted yesterday, the US has something to show. Even though GTA: Liberty City Stories came out in late October fans rushed to get their copy of the game, which made it the number one selling PSP game for the month!
Interestingly on the All Consoles sales list Liberty City Stories pulled in at number four on the chart. The latest Socom, NBA Live 06 and of course Madden NFL 06 (all for the PS2) overcame LCS. This shows us that Grand Theft Auto is still a big favorite for most US gamers, portable or not.
Also below is a new artwork image to the site. It is the character Giovanni Casa from Liberty City Stories. Thanks to UK’s best GTA webmaster, Adam, for this one.

The uk all-format sales for last week were published today and what a shocking drop for Take Two’s GTA: Liberty City Stories. The game dropped from fourth place down to number ten tied in between a copy of Rockstar’s Read Dead Revolver called Gun and Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland – both by Activision. As we all know the UK are full of soccer fans and Liberty City Stories is competing against three games in that genre. The recent release of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire also didn’t make GTA:LCS’ job easy.
We’ll probably get a full update from Take Two next mont (most likely December 15th) when they report their Fourth Quarter And Fiscal 2005 Financial Results. During their fourth quarter result, each year, they give their Future Publishing Highlights talking about their upcoming titles in the following callender year. We hope to hear more of GTA PSP 2 and GTA for next-gen consoles then.
